Rates
My usual 50 minute sessions are $220/hr. I have several sliding scale slots for clients in need. With couples, I have found that couples and EMDR therapy works best when done for 80 minutes for $330.
I use an auto payment system through the confidential therapy portal Simple Practice so clients can focus on healing rather than payment.
Insurance
In-person counseling at my San Rafael office and some online therapy will qualify for reimbursement if your insurance covers out of network providers for mental health services. Call them to find out their policy, procedure and rate for reimbursement.
I can provide you with a monthly invoice (super bill) to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Be advised that most insurance companies require a diagnosis for you to qualify for mental health services. We can discuss the implications of this in more detail.
